It also provides closed-chain, weight-bearing assessment and training for lower extremity patients, making it an essential tool for concussion management programs by adding an objective balance assessment component.
The Balance System SD is a useful training tool designed to improve kinesthetic abilities, which can help compensate for impaired proprioceptive reflex mechanisms after an injury. With this unique device, clinicians can evaluate neuromuscular control by measuring the ability to maintain dynamic postural stability, both bilaterally and unilaterally, on both stable and unstable surfaces.
